Peter is highly respected and trusted for his devoted service in the community, not only as an outstanding lawyer, but as an community organizer and activist deeply involved in neighborhood and local governmental issues. 
 
Until recently, Peter was a long-term resident of the Madison Valley neighborhood, and he held several leadership positions in that community, including President of the Greater Madison Valley Treasurer of the Madison Valley Merchants Association, member of the Steering Committee of Citizens for a Community Center at M.L. King, and a resident member of the Madison Valley Engineering Subcommittee of Seattle Public Utilities.  Peter is a current member of Business Owners of Madrona.
 
  

 

Peter is an active member of the Washington State and New York State bars, and has been a practicing lawyer since 1983.  In addition, Peter was licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in New York State (license not currently maintained). 

 

He is a summa cum laude graduate of the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business, with a B.S. in Economics (1977).  Peter received his Juris Doctor degree from New York University School of Law (1982).
